“On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris.

No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit.”


Rendez-Vous behind the scenes / making of (in french :( - if you find a version in english or w/ subtitles let me know pls) - was it a Ferrari? did F1 driver participate ? :)

  1. the car u mension was accually a merc and the noise was recorded from a ferarri the camera was put low to the ground so it seemed to be going fast dont u watch 5 gear on channel 5
